Rover Thames Jubilee Pageant

Along with a million other people we went upto London on Sunday 3rd of June to stand in the cold and wet on the banks of the river !

it was already quite crowded when we arrived about 12.30pm	this is the ramp down to the embankment from the Festival hall	very regal company	I rather liked this image
the floating bells, we didnt hear anything of these bells - whether it was the noise of the crowds or the wind I don't know	Gloriana, the royal barge	not quite sure who these rowers were	the "man"powered boats were spectacular
yet more of them	and still they come !	they must have been exhaudsted by the time they got to Tower Bridge !

and from Canada	Maoris from New Zealand	Commonwealth flags	so many falgs ...
and so many sea cadets !	some flags we knew some we didn't recognise	the tender for the former Royal Yacht Britannia	the Queen's boat
you can just make out the Queen under the canopy and towards its front, she's dressed in white.	more dignatories	RNLI, our favourite !	and now the Dunkirk boats
all still sea worthy after nearly 70 years
